Motion carried 4 - 0. <br /> <br />Mr. Root made a MOTION to recommend app roval of Amending Section 8 of the <br />Zoning Ordinance which includes requirements for industrial districts. <br /> <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson . Motion carried 4 - 0 . <br /> <br />C. PUBLIC HEARING to consider Amending Section 3 of the Zoning Ordinance <br />regarding requirem ents for Screening, Landscaping and Buffer Yards <br /> <br />Paul Bengtson presented the staff report. Staff recommended approval of the Zoning <br />Ordinance Amendment . <br /> <br />Board members raised questions about screening requirements and for ways to do tree <br />sampling rather than require a complete survey. Staff answered that the screening <br />requirements mimic current standards, and that more screening/buffer on collector streets <br />at the time of subdivision development would be required. Staff said the wording could <br />be changed to arterial streets. <br /> <br />Staff noted that tree surveys can be waived if considered unnecessary, and is only <br />required in areas where work is occurring. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Hyden declared the Public Hearing open at 8 :00 p.m. <br /> <br />There was no one present to speak. <br /> <br />Mr. Lad en made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 8 :12 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Evenson .
