COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 28, 2000 Mayor Bergeson asked if the Council should continue the public hearing because the final plat for • Bluebill Ponds was continued. Staff advised there is no reason to continue the hearing. The final plat will be approved before the plans are received. Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 7:55 p.m. Council Member O'Donnell moved to close the public hearing at 7:56 p.m. Council Member Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Resolution No. 00 — 77, Order the Improvement and Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Main Street Trunk Utilities, John Powell — Staff advised after the public hearing is held, the next step in the Public Improvement Process is to order the improvement and preparation of the plans and specifications. This project was initiated by a petition from the Bluebill Ponds subdivision, which is the benefited property, proposed to be assessed. The petitioners have also waived 50 days of the 60 day waiting period. Therefore, per Section 8.06 of the City Charter, t . ity Council may immediately order the proposed project.
