COUNCIL MINUTES AUGUST 28, 2000 <br />Mayor Bergeson asked if the Council should continue the public hearing because the final plat for • <br />Bluebill Ponds was continued. Staff advised there is no reason to continue the hearing. The final plat <br />will be approved before the plans are received. <br />Mayor Bergeson opened the public hearing at 7:55 p.m. <br />Council Member O'Donnell moved to close the public hearing at 7:56 p.m. Council Member Carlson <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 00 — 77, Order the Improvement and Preparation of Plans and Specifications for <br />Main Street Trunk Utilities, John Powell — Staff advised after the public hearing is held, the next <br />step in the Public Improvement Process is to order the improvement and preparation of the plans and <br />specifications. This project was initiated by a petition from the Bluebill Ponds subdivision, which is <br />the benefited property, proposed to be assessed. The petitioners have also waived 50 days of the 60 <br />day waiting period. Therefore, per Section 8.06 of the City Charter, t . ity Council may <br />immediately order the proposed project.
