In addition, the city staff <br />and council have been actively working on how this Vision will come to life. It's <br />important to dearly understand all objectives, needs and requirements of the city <br />early in the process. <br />How This Step is Completed: <br />Benchmark Community Builder Collaborative interviews members of city staff, <br />attends council meetings and holds other meetings as needed to gain an in- <br />depth understanding of all of the various desires, needs, requirements and <br />concerns the city has regarding the proposed project. <br />An important detailed aspect of this step is to review and summarize the existing <br />business mix so that gaps can be identified. <br />Who Completes: <br />Benchmark Community Builder Collaborative <br />Outcome: <br />Benchmark Community Builder Collaborative will summarize its understanding of <br />the current opportunities and needs in written form to ensure a common <br />understanding of the city's requirements. <br />All Rights Reserved 3 <br />
