Studenski, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: April 26, 2004 <br />TOPIC: <br />Resolution No. 04 -53, Approving Comprehensive Water System <br />Plan <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City's Comprehensive Water Plan was last prepared in 1991. Since that <br />time, the system has undergone substantial expansion and modification to <br />service both existing and new development. City Staff was ordered by City <br />Council to revise the Comprehensive Water System Plan to more accurately <br />reflect existing conditions as well as identify future system needs. Preparation o <br />the Comprehensive Water System Plan has been completed and City Staff is <br />requesting Council approval. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution Number 04 -53, approving Comprehensive Water System <br />Plan. <br />3. Not adopt Resolution Number 04 -53. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution No 04 -53 be adopted. <br />
