•
•
AGENDA ITEM 6Di
STAFF ORIGINATOR: James E. Studenski
C.C. MEETING DATE: November 26, 2007
TOPIC: Resolution No. 07 -199, Repealing Resolution No.
07 -178: Resolution Adopting Assessments for the
Golden Acre Development Project
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority
BACKGROUND
On October 22, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 07 -178, adopting assessments for
the Golden Acre development project, a four lot residential subdivision on the north side of Lois
Lane, approximately 175 feet east of Meadowview Trail.
Since, final plats are required to be recorded within 90 days, and the applicant has indicated that
he was not able to meet this deadline. The Golden Acre plat has not been recorded and the
applicant has requested an extension, the assessments for this project can not be placed with
Anoka County on the property taxes.
The assessments will remain pending. The assessments will be adopted following the plat
recording of the subdivision.
RECOMMENDATION -
Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution No. 07 -199, repealing Resolution No. 07 -178,
Adopting Assessments for the Golden Acre Development Project.
