• 05 -07 -07 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />FINANCE SECTION <br />EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN <br />REVISION: 1 <br />I. PURPOSE <br />The purpose of this section is to provide management of emergency spending, tracking incident <br />costs, and reimbursement accounting following an emergency in the City of Lino Lakes. <br />II. RESPONSIBILITIES <br />A. The Emergency Funding Coordination branch will be responsible for developing and <br />coordinating a financial plan to meet incidents and resource needs. This includes <br />facilitating or coordinating cash donations. <br />B. The Emergency Contracting branch will be responsible for financial matters involving <br />vendor contracts. <br />C. The Compensation and Claims branch is responsible for financial concerns resulting <br />from property damage, injury, or fatalities at the incident. <br />III. AVAILABLE RESOURCES AND SUPPORTING AGENCIES <br />A. Emergency Funding Coordination, Emergency Contracting, and Compensation and <br />Claims will be coordinated by the City of Lino Lakes Finance Director and other staff <br />members. <br />IV. POLICIES AND PROCEDURES <br />A. If emergency conditions warrant, the Mayor of the City of Lino Lakes or Mayor Pro <br />Tem can declare a state of emergency for up to 72- hours. The Mayor and City Council <br />will determine the level of spending expended on the disaster. <br />B. Emergency funding efforts will be initiated as soon as possible following the occurrence <br />of a disaster. The Finance Department will be responsible for overseeing this branch. <br />C. The different branches will be responsible for developing policies and procedures for <br />operation under emergency conditions. <br />410 V. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION <br />A.
