The Council's <br />20 direction to staff was to not include any funding for these outside agencies in the 2006 <br />21 budget. Since the adoption of the preliminary budget, staff has informed various <br />22 organizations of the Council's ina bility to fund outside agency requests this year <br />23 Inquiries have been made as to whether the Council would entertain presentations <br />from <br />24 organizations requesting funding. <br />25 <br />26 City Administrator Heitke advised staff has taken the position that placing budget <br />77 requests ou the Council agenda would 6e inconsistent with the past action of the C000cO <br />28 | }�ov/�v would forward db `' <br />���g� the requests <br />29 1onw�umgdbe�gueoaoforgao�udnnsbnfunding �--' --------'^' <br />prrocotarmoy. Should the Council -` <br />30 choose to reconsider these funding requests, staff is recommending that all of the <br />31 agencies be informed of the opportunity to present to the Council since most accepted the <br />32 fact that the Council had made its decision, <br />33 <br />34 The Council determined presentatwns for funding requests might be considered prior to <br />35 the next year's budget process. Staff will draft a lette to sen to the organizations <br />36 explaining this year's budget consaints, <br />37 <br />38 CG&}II4 MEMORANDUM OF <br />39 UNDERSTANDING <br />40 Community Development Director Grochala advised Anoka County has completed the <br />41 preliminary plans for the improvemen of County State Aid Highway 14 (Main Street) <br />42 from I'35TymI-35E and is beginning the final design. <br />43 <br />44 Community Development Director Grochala referred to the concept plan poin ng out the <br />45 ramps and noting the proposal does include a new access opposite the ramps. <br />2 <br />'6g- <br />
