Mr. Grochala replied it w ould end prior to his property line. Mayor Bergeson, stated comments by Councilm ember Carlson did not represent the City Council and requested the Board keep this in mind. Ms. Carlson stated when she approached the podium, she was not acting as a Councilmember and she did not introduce hersel f as a Councilmember. She stated she was expressing her concerns as a l ong time resident of Lino Lakes. Ms. Lane made a MOTION to close the public hearing at 11:14 p.m. and was supported by Mr. Corson. Motion carried 6-0. Chair Schaps invited appl icant to make comment. Jeff Raduechel, representative of developer, st ated this was not anticipated to be a high volume industrial operation. He stated the building was a very hi gh quality industrial building. He noted this would be a substa ntially higher quality buildings then what existed on the north side of 35W. He noted th ey were being sensitive to the environment in the area. He noted while this was a la rge building, it would be significantly screened. He stated when the area was fully deve loped, the impact of the docks would be minimized. Mr. Rafferty stated he could appreciate th e comments from the developer and staff regarding the design and orientation of the building, but he expres sed concern about the number of dock doors. Jeff Raduechel point ed out the doors would be significantly screened and they had tried to minimize the impact. He stated the number of docks was relatively small in comparison to the size of the building. He indicated they chose the colors to coordinate with the school. Rob Davidson, Davidson Companies, stated they were not contemplating a 24-hour operation. This was intended to be a distribu tion facility only. He stated there would be 125-150 employees on the facility and there w ould be low truck traffic volume. He stated this was an existing busine ss consolidating to a new location. Mr. Lyden asked what were the hours of operation. Mr. Davidson replied Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with an occasional ½ day on a Saturday. Mr. Rafferty asked if there would be a lot of truck retainage at the dock doors. Mr. Davidson replied the trucks would be in and out of the facility. He stated they did not own any of the trucks and trucks would not be stored on the facility. He indicated there might be trucks on the property for a shor t period of time, but not for long periods. Mr. Lyden asked if they were receiving an y TIF funding on the prop erties they currently owned. Mr. Davidson replied to his knowle dge there has not been any TIF funding. Ms. Lane pointed out this was for prelimin ary plat approval only and they were not approving the business.
