Approach <br />7 <br />Comments <br />Potential advantages of this model include its capacity to <br />draw upon the knowledge and abilities of the City's <br />elected and appointed leaders, emphasizing their <br />governance role as representatives of the community. <br />This model also makes the most efficient use of time and <br />City resources. <br />Potential disadvantages of this model may be its limited <br />use of the knowledge and skills of community members <br />and the possibility that it may not be able to reach those <br />segments of the community that are not well - connected <br />to the City's formal power structure. Also, by limiting <br />community involvement, this model may not have the <br />capacity needed to sustain long -term community support <br />for the achieving the 2030 strategic vision. <br />Lino Lakes, Minnesota.
