• <br />• <br />Year Three (January 1 through December 31, 2008) — Outlots B and C <br />Restoration and Management Tasks <br />• Prescribed burn plans will be written and burn permits will be acquired in the first quarter <br />of the third year; <br />• Prescribed burning plan will be implemented for native prairie remnants, pond edges, <br />native vegetation in infiltration basins, oak forest/woodland edges, and rare species <br />habitat (up to 11.9 acres) in the late first quarter, or early second quarter of year three (i.e. <br />March and/or April); <br />• Invasive species resprouts shall be re -cut and/or re- treated with appropriate herbicides in <br />the second, third, and fourth quarters of year three; <br />• Existing degraded native communities will be re- seeded with appropriate native seed mix <br />during the third and fourth quarters of the third year; <br />• The 1.0 acre wetland mitigation area will be monitored during second and third quarters <br />of the third year; <br />• Known locations of endangered plant populations will be monitored during the second <br />and third quarters of the third year, and; <br />• A wetland mitigation monitoring report will be completed during the fourth quarter of the <br />third year, and; <br />• A qualified ecologist shall monitor grading and construction activities to ensure <br />compliance with the stewardship plan during site development (all quarters as needed, <br />year three). <br />Year Four (January 1 through December 31, 2009) — Outlots B and C <br />Restoration and Management Tasks <br />• Reseeded native communities will be monitored during the second and third quarters of <br />year four; <br />• Known locations of endangered plant populations will be monitored during the second <br />and third quarters of year four; <br />• The 1.0 acre wetland mitigation area will be monitored during second and third quarters <br />of year four, and; <br />• A wetland mitigation monitoring report will be completed during the fourth quarter of the <br />fourth year. <br />Year Five (January 1 through December 31, 2010) — Outlots B and C <br />Restoration and Management Tasks <br />• Prescribed burn plans will be written and burn permits will be acquired in the first quarter <br />of the fifth year; <br />• Prescribed burning plan will be implemented for native prairie remnants, pond edges, <br />native vegetation in infiltration basins, oak forest/woodland edges, and rare species <br />habitat (up to 11.9 acres) in the late first quarter, or early second quarter of year five (i.e. <br />March and/or April); <br />The Preserve Conservation Development - Restoration and Management Plan 23 <br />
