• <br />• <br />• <br />• Re- seeded native communities will be monitored during the second through fourth <br />quarters of the fifth year; <br />• Known locations of endangered plant populations will be monitored during the second <br />and third quarters of the fifth year; <br />• The 1.0 acre wetland mitigation area will be monitored during second through fourth <br />quarters of the fifth year, and; <br />• A final wetland mitigation monitoring report will be completed during the fourth quarter <br />of the fifth year, and submitted to the Rice Creek Watershed District and US Army Corps <br />of Engineers for approval. <br />• A long -term adaptive management plan, based on five years of restoration, management, <br />and monitoring data, shall be developed and written by a qualified ecologist in the fourth <br />quarter of year five. The plan shall be reviewed by the city and The Preserve <br />Homeowner's Association prior to finalization. The long -term plan shall take consider <br />and strike a balance between ecological needs and financial constraints. <br />Phase 2 — Maintenance and Management: Years 5 -10+ - Outlots B and C <br />1) Monitoring and spot treatment of invasive species populations and effectiveness of <br />management practices; <br />2) Prescribed burning of wetlands, dry prairie /savannas, and oak/aspen woodland edges; <br />3) Monitoring of restoration successes and failures, vegetation diversity, and wildlife use; <br />4) Monitoring and resolution of residential encroachment into conservation areas, <br />unauthorized uses of conservation areas, and negative impacts associated with trail use <br />and maintenance, and; <br />5) Coordination among The Preserve's Homeowners Association, the City of Lino Lakes, <br />the project ecologist, and other project stakeholders to update management plan and <br />priorities, and allocated restoration and management resources. <br />*All tasks for Years 3 through 10 are to be funded by The Preserve's Homeowners <br />Association. <br />The Preserve Conservation Development - Restoration and Management Plan 24 <br />
