ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING JUNE 28, 2006 <br /> <br />3 APPROVED MINUTES <br />Ms. Brouillet suggested adding sod recommendations and requirements to Mr. <br />Asleson’s letter. Mr. Alseson suggested a map of Stoneybrook to be sent with the <br />letter. <br /> <br />Ms. O’Dea suggested a sentence stating Mr. Asleson will be in the development <br />on a designated date and would discuss at that time the sod issues with interested <br />residents at that time. Or say Mr. Alseson would be happy to come out and meet <br />with you. <br /> <br />Mr. Bor suggested to Mr. Asleson adding a sentence that explained the <br />conservation easement. <br /> <br />It was asked that when Tollefson calls a meeting with Stoneybrook residents will <br />Mr. Grochala and Mr. Asleson be there? Would like Mr. Asleson to explain <br />about conservation endowment programs. Stoneybook homeowners are debating <br />whether to have Homeowners Association. Can Mr. Asleson explain what this <br />means at the meeting? <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson stated yes, he would be willing to talk at the meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson stated that we are not ready to wrap up Stoneybrook Development <br />with the City Council. City requested Tollefson for reimbursement for five or six <br />areas of native plantings. Tollefson has complied. <br /> <br />Ms. Brouillet asked Mr. Asleson if they could get more boulevard trees in the <br />development and Mr. Asleson responded yes. <br /> <br />Ms. O’Dea stated that we can not do a follow-up summary to council as of yet. <br /> <br />C. Surface Water/Resources Management Planning <br /> <br />Mr. Asleson stated that we are considering taking Open Space plan to the next <br />level. We are looking at Resource Management Planning Areas. We would be <br />working with RCWD and their Engineering Company (EOR) to define future <br />wetland mitigation areas and banking. <br /> <br />D. Blue Heron Days <br /> <br />Blue Heron Days is August 18, 19 and 20. There is a link to this on the front page <br />of the city web site. <br /> <br />Ms. O’Dea stated that last year the board talked about handing out popcorn and <br />being present during Blue Heron Days. It was suggested that the board could pick <br />up trash at the end of the parade. The board could pass out a handout or maybe a
