•
•
Mr. Jason Wedel
November 5, 2013
Page 3
15. Note elevation of floodplain on plans. If fill is proposed within floodplain areas, provide
cut / fill volumes within the floodplain to demonstrate that no net fill will occur within
the floodplain.
16. Note how design infiltration rate was determined for infiltration basins.
17. Maintain 3' of separation from surface of infiltration areas to seasonal high groundwater
elevation.
18. Show perimeter of infiltration areas on plan or include note indicating square footage of
infiltration areas.
19. Verify high water elevation of south wetland and account for tailwater condition in model
if needed.
20. It appears that the "ditch to the east" does not flow to the "wetland south" as shown in the
proposed model. In order to clarify routing used in the model, revise node locations to
graphically depict relative location of subcatchments and basins (not needed to scale). In
addition to ponds and subcatchments, clearly show reach alignments and wetland basins
on drainage maps. Include wetland basins in the proposed conditions model.
21. Note that ATLAS 14 precipitation was used for analysis in Stormwater Management
Report narrative for future reference.
22. Curve Numbers used in the HydroCAD model should match standards outlined in
RCWD Rules.
23. Address how surface runoff on Pheasant Run South to the intersection of Old Birch Street
will be addressed.
EROSION CONTROL
24. Show location of rock construction entrance on plan.
This concludes our stormwater management comments at this time.
