A petition <br />was received from area residents and businesses that was forwarded to the County. He <br />advised that the City can pass along the residents concerns to the County but the County <br />has the final decision. He also suggested that residents contact the County themselves. <br />Ms. Carlson added that Mr. Powell did testify at a State hearing regarding the speed limit <br />when schools are in session. The proposal did not pass. She suggested residents also <br />contact the State Senators and Legislatures. <br />Mr. Corson moved to close open mike at 6:41 p.m., and was supported by Ms. Carlson. <br />Motion carried 6 -0. <br />VI ACTION ITEMS <br />B. PUBLIC HEARING (CONTINUED), Majestic Pines Community Church, <br />XXX Centerville Road, Site Plan Review & Conditional Use Permit <br />Ms. Cindy Sherman, Northwest Associated Consultants, advised the City has received an <br />application for site plan review and conditional use permit from Majestic Pines <br />Community Church. The site is located on the East side of Centerville Road just north of <br />Lake Amelia. <br />This application first came to the Planning and Zoning Board on August 11, 1999. Staff <br />did not prepare a report because the project required extensive revision due to relocation <br />of the ordinary high water level on the site plan.
