• <br />PLANNING & ZONING BOARD <br />August 9, 1995 <br />Mr.Brixius indicated when the plan comes into effect the <br />land would need to be zoned Public /Semi Public. <br />Currently the City is only looking for legal description <br />of the land, if buildings are proposed, then the rezoning <br />would need to be done. <br />Rick Gelbmann made a MOTION to approve application 95-23 - <br />S, Centennial School District, Minor Subdivision, Elm <br />Street with the four stated conditions and was supported <br />by Tom Mesich. All voted aye. Motion carried. <br />B. 95 -24 -C, R. Carlson, Conditional Use Permit for <br />stockpile of dirt south of Pineridqe II and III. <br />Planning Consultant Brixius briefly reviewed the staff <br />report outlining the request for a Conditional Use Permit <br />under Section 4, Subdivision 33 of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />Mr. Brixius reported the request is to excavate (deepen), <br />the rear yard swale in Pineridge II and III to allow <br />lookout style homes rather than the original full <br />basement ramblers and stockpile the excavated material to <br />the south for future use. The amount of material to be <br />regraded and stockpiled is approximately 7,000 cubic <br />yards. <br />• Mr. Brixius indicated staff recommends approval with the <br />• <br />following conditions: <br />1. Side slopes shall not be steeper than a 3:1 <br />slope. <br />2. Height of the stockpile shall not exceed 6 <br />feet. <br />3. Side slopes shall be seeded and mulched to <br />prevent erosion. <br />4. Stockpile shall be monitored by owner and kept <br />free of weeds. <br />Chair Pro -tem Robinson inquired as to how far it would be <br />from the rear lots to the stockpile. Mr. Brixius <br />indicated it would be slightly over 100 feet. <br />Chair Pro -tem Robinson inquired as to how long the <br />stockpile would be there. Mr. Ted Matke, the applicant, <br />indicated it would be there for approximately two years, <br />or until the MUSA line changes. <br />Chair Pro -tem Robinson inquired what the stockpile would <br />be used for. Mr. Makte indicated it would be used for <br />top soil. <br />
