• PLANNING & ZONING BOARD 3 Jan. 13, 1993 <br />• <br />• <br />accomplished before then - this is merely the preliminary <br />plat. <br />Diane Jensen of Oakwood Lane stated that the neighborhood is <br />interested in working with the Park Board and very interested <br />in obtaining a neighborhood park in this vicinity. <br />The audience was advised that this matter must be sent to the <br />Park Board for their review on February 1, 1993, and will then <br />be forwarded to the City Council on February 8th. <br />After some discussion Tom Mesich made a MOTION recommending <br />approval of the preliminary plat with the conditions outlined <br />in the Planners Report 1 -5 and Condition 6 recommending that <br />the City Forester insure tree preservation in this plat and <br />Condition 7 that the developer obtain necessary permits from <br />the Rice Creek Watershed District and the DNR /Corp. of <br />Engineers. Mr. Gelbmann seconded the motion. All voted aye. <br />Motion carried. <br />Chairman Schaps encouraged the neighborhood group to continue <br />working with the Park Board and asked that the neighborhood be <br />advised, through the park development group, of plans for <br />developing the park. <br />92 -52 -CUP, Rehbein Transit, 6298 Hodgson Road <br />Mary Kay Wyland reviewed this request which is to allow the <br />stock piling of dirt on General Business & Residential <br />property at 6298 Hodgson Road. The property owner would like <br />to stock pile this dirt for approximately three (3) years. <br />The dirt came from the Co. Rd. J. project, is clean fill (most <br />of it is peat) and will be sold over the next few years. <br />There will be no pulverizing of the dirt. Staff has <br />recommended approval with the conditions outlined in the staff <br />report. <br />Mr. Mesich asked why the dirt was already on the site and Mr. <br />Rehbein explained that he had not realized he needed a permit <br />since his property is zoned general business. In response to <br />a question from Mr. Landers, he explained that no more dirt <br />will be coming in, they may be hauling out on Saturdays, but <br />not on Sundays. John Grundhoefer of Linda Avenue was present <br />and was concern if additional dirt were to be brought in. Mr. <br />Rehbein explained that he will not be bringing in any more. <br />Mr. Robinson then made a MOTION recommending approval of the <br />Conditional Use Permit with the following conditions: <br />1.
