• <br />• <br />PLANNING & ZONING MEETING <br />October 11, 1989 <br />Mr. Irwin suggested the cul -de -sac on the southwest corner of <br />the plat be extended to the south to allow for future <br />streets. He also stated that the lots on the cul -de -sac's on <br />the plat do not meet the requirements of being 135' deep. <br />Irwin also suggested a street to be extended on the east side <br />of the plat to allow for future development of the streets. <br />Schrader will meet with staff to discuss this issue. <br />The preliminary plat will show a drainage assessment. <br />MOTION: Fred Chase moved to recommend to city council <br />approval of a concept plan for Misty Glen plan "B" with the <br />understanding that the preliminary plat will be considered <br />when: <br />1. The method and timing of extending city utilities <br />to the site is resolved. <br />2. The applicant and the city planner have reached <br />agreement as a method of guaranteeing house values <br />in the development. <br />3. Approval has been given by the DNR and Rice Creek <br />Watershed District. <br />4. Necessary road and utility easements have been <br />secured for perimeter streets. <br />5. Park board approval has been given. <br />The developer should work with the city in regards to the <br />current status of the interceptor sewer and possibly <br />connecting additional properties to the land by street <br />access. The Developer will work with city staff to try and <br />reallign the roads to make them more aesthetically pleasing. <br />Mr. King seconded the motion and the motion was approved with <br />Sally Kuether abstaining. <br />9:40 p.m. <br />REVIEW OF CONCEPT PLAN FOR TIMBER PONDS SINGLE FAMILY <br />SUBDIVISION AS A REPLAT OF PINE OAKS SUBDIVISION LOCATED <br />SOUTH OF PINE STREET AND WEST OF LAKE DRIVE. <br />There was no one present to represent this concept plan. <br />MOTION: Alan Irwin moved to table the concept plan for <br />. Timber Ponds - Single Family Subdivision. Mr. King seconded <br />the motion and the motion was approved with a three to one <br />vote. <br />
