PLANNING AND ZONING FEBRUARY 10, 1988 <br />OPEN MIKE: John MacDonald - Centerville Lake Association - <br />Some of Mr. MacDonalds concerns were: 1) the quality of the <br />water 2) the lack of fish in the lake. 3) Lakeview <br />Addition and 4) culvert between Peltier Lake and <br />Centerville Lake. <br />Chairman Cody thanked Mr. MacDonald for sharing his <br />concerns. <br />Prokop joined the meeting at 7:17 p.m. <br />REQUEST FOR SKETCH PLAN REVIEW FOR EL REHBEIN AND SON FOR <br />LAKES ADDITION NO. 9 <br />El Rehbein and Son Inc. owns approximately 18.5 acres of <br />land on Birch Street formerly known as Lakes Addition No. 7. <br />The land was origianally subdivided for the construction of <br />quadraminiums. Recently Lino Lakes approved the <br />resubdivision of a portion of Lakes Addition No. 7 creating <br />six single- family residential lots adjacent to Black Duck <br />Drive. The applicant is interested in re- platting the <br />remainder of Lakes Addition No. 7 for the construction of <br />single - family homes. <br />He is asking the Planning and Zoning Board to review this <br />sketch plan prior to his submittal of a preliminary plat. <br />Mr. Joyer stepped down from the board to present the sketch <br />plan. <br />* Chairman Cody questioned what the plans were for Outlot <br />B. Joyer replied it would continue to be green <br />space. The area would be controlled from the home <br />owners association. It will be a walk -on type <br />of access. They want to preserve the area as <br />green space. <br />Timing on the project - Joyer would like to come to <br />the next Planning and Zoning meeting with a <br />preliminary plat. <br />* "Exception" next to Outlot A - There is a possibility <br />of arranging a trade with the property, creating two <br />lots. However, there is no agreement at this time. <br />* Walkways - between lots 1 and 14 - Block numbers are <br />missing on plans. It was suggested to have a walkway <br />to allow access to the shopping area. This could be an <br />PAGE 2 <br />
