•
PLANNING AND ZONING FEBRUARY 10, 1988
easement for utilities to get back to the homes.
There was discussion regarding the lot size regarding
minimum requirements. It's a non cul -de -sac area.
Lots should be a minimum of 75 feet wide. Joyer
thought the curves on the roads were like cul - -de -sacs.
This should all be worked out our City Planner - John
Miller.
There was general discussion:
* Double frontage lots - 6 lots backed up to Birch Street
* Questions answered at the next meeting regarding the
City Engineers letter of February 5th.
* Check with the DNR regarding outlot B
• No official action taken on this and Jeff Joyer will be back
next month with a preliminary plat.
•
REQUEST FOR SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR JOE SPETZMAN FOR PROPERTY
AT 8141 LAKE DRIVE, APPLICATION 88 -03.
At the January meeting, the Planning and Zoning Board
considered requests from Joe Spetzman for a lot split to
create a two acre industrial lot. That request was
subsequently approved by the City Council based on the
Planning and Zoning Boards recommendation. Spetzman also
asked for a variance as the pole barn he had constructed on
the land would have only a 60 foot side yard setback instead
of the ordinance required 75 feet. This was approved by the
City Council.
Mr. Spetzman brought a petition from everyone who abuts him
property. The petition stated the neighbors do not have a
problem with Mr. Spetzman using his building for custom wood
products manufacturing.
The main issue the Planning and Zoning had was with the
Lighting and the Signage. Mr. Spetzman has to be consistant
to the ordinance.
MOTION: Prokop recommended to the City Council approval of
site plan review for Joe Spetzman industrial property 8141
Lake Drive - Application 88 -03 for the reason it meets all
the requirements necessary for the particular application.
