They have been
leasing two cottages on the corner of 4th Avenue and Lilac
Street and now wish to purchase the land.
MOTION: Nelson recommended the City Council approve the
request of the County of Anoka for a Minor Subdivision of
certain land located at Lino Lakes Correctional facility
Application 88 -05, action to be contingent on an acceptable
agreement to both parties relative to the administration
fee.
Crohn seconded the motion and the motion was carried
unanimously.
REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL FOR LAKE VIEW
SUBDIVISION (KENT ROESSLER), APPLICATION 87 -32.
No action was taken on this in January because the Rice
Creek Watershed approval had not been obtained. Residents
at the January meeting raised questions about sewer
capacity, drainage and water quality. In addition Ron
Stahlberg had these concerns.
1. Rear lot dimensions are missing on lots 6, 7, 16
and 17.
2. Storm sewer for Area No. 2 is to be centered on
the easement.
3. Silt fence is to be installed on top of the bank,
not from the bottom of the ditch.
4. The weir detail to be used on the project is to be
provided. A detail for informational purposes
only is not acceptable.
Also noted was that the street name Lakeview Circle was
unacceptable as it was too similar to Lake View Drive.
The weir detail is to be a requirement for construction.
The street name shall be LaMotte Circle.
John Miller stated a variance is required because of the
length of LaMotte Circle. The maximum length permitted is
500 feet and the length is more than 700 feet.
NEIGHBORS COMMENTS: Bill Brown - 6900 LaMotte Drive,
