• <br />PLANNING AND ZONING MINUTES JULY 13, 1988 <br />The applicants have had a certificate of survey prepared <br />showing the proposed lot split. Again, the smaller parcel <br />measures 150 x 440 feet and covers an area of 1.51 acres. <br />The second parcel with the Thies dwelling measures 440 X 510 <br />feet and covers 5.15 acres. <br />The certificate of survey also identifies two 60 foot <br />easements that will be granted to the city for street and <br />utility purposes. The attached sketch plan shows how the <br />two parcels can be further subdivided when utilities become <br />available. <br />MOTION: Nelson moved to recommend to the City Council <br />approval of a lot split for Arnold & Anna May Thies <br />Application 88 -23 on condition they provide the easements as <br />shown. Joyer seconded the motion. The motion was carried <br />unanimously. <br />MOTION: Nelson recommended approval to the City Council of <br />their variance requests Application 88-24 stating that the <br />six findings of fact can be made in this case. Prokop <br />seconded the motion and the motion is carried unanimously. <br />Prokop stated that on the certificate of survey for parcels <br />A & B the location of the houses be incorporated for <br />clarification. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR WESLEY BEACH, APPLICATION 88 -22: <br />Wesley Beach owns Lot 5 of Auditor's Subdivision Number 151. <br />The land is located on the northwest shore of Rice Lake and <br />has frontage on T.H. 49. The property is approximately 200 <br />feet wide and 750 feet deep accounting for about 3.4 acres. <br />Beach has his dwelling on the south side of the lot. <br />Presently he wishes to subdivide the lot selling the north <br />80 feet and keeping approximately 120 feet for himself. <br />MOTION: Prokop moved that Application 88 -22 for Wesley <br />Beach to split his lots be tabled until the City Staff and <br />Beach can decide when sewer will be available. Nelson <br />seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. <br />SITE PLAN REVIEW FOR VFW POST 6853 FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AT <br />LILAC STREET AND LAKE DRIVE, APPLICATION 88 -18: <br />The VFW owns 8.5 acres of land near the intersection of Lake <br />Drive and Lilac Street.
