• <br />• <br />• <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD October 5, 1988 <br />After considerable discussion a motion was made. <br />MOTION: <br />Cheryl Nelson moved to recommend to the City Council <br />approval of Reshanau Lake Estates South - third addition <br />conditional upon the developer meeting all the old R -1 <br />requirements, including the following information for the <br />City Engineer: <br />1. Location of catch basins and storm sewers. <br />2. Hydraulic computations for the storm sewers. <br />3. A cost estimate for grading to include <br />approximate quantities for tree removal, and <br />cubic yards of excavating. This will be <br />needed for the grading permit. <br />Prokop seconded the motion and the motion was approved with <br />Alan Irwin voting No. <br />RE- CONSIDERATION OF INITIATION OF REZONING FOR HARVEY <br />CHEESBROUGH. <br />Mr. Cheesbrough was not present at the meeting - this item <br />is tabled until the board meets in November. <br />REVIEW OF REVISED EDC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REZONING CERTAIN <br />AREAS OF THE CITY FOR COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL USES. <br />The board felt Lino Lakes does need more commercial and <br />industrial zoned areas in the City. <br />After much discussion a motion was made. <br />MOTION: Arlene Averback recommended to Council the <br />acceptance of the September 21, 1988 rezoning recommendation <br />made by the Economic Development <br />Committee with the exceptions of the following areas: <br />1. "S- R /R -1" residential land south of 77th street <br />and north of the VFW club site. This area <br />is recommended for "S -R" Suburban Residential <br />zoning. <br />2. S -R triangle south of Oak Lane, East of Carole's <br />Page 2 <br />
