• <br />• <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION - Ron Birch: Application 87 -27. The <br />applicant owns 20 acres of land in the southeast part of <br />Lino Lakes on the east shore of Amelia Lake. He has <br />submitted an application for a minor subdivision to divide <br />the land into two 10 acre parcels. Each parcel is <br />buildable. <br />Mr. Birch was present, representing himself. Mr. Miller <br />questioned the parcel size. The land is adjacent to the <br />lakeshore and the elevation of the lake affects land size. <br />Mr. Birch contacted the DNR regarding the lakes elevation. <br />That department has determined the 100 year flood elevation <br />to be 907.1 feet above sea level. This elevation gives more <br />than 20 acres of land in the parcel. <br />MOTION: Ms. Nelson moved to recommend to the City Council <br />approval of a minor subdivision for Ronald L. Birch to allow <br />for the creation of two ten -acre parcels. Mr. McLean <br />seconded the motion and the motion was carried unanimously. <br />SITE AND BUILDING PLAN - FRDY Inc. Application 87 -28. Mr. <br />Yauk was present, representing the FRDY Corporation. <br />Frank Damon and Bob Youck wish to construct an addition to <br />the 60 X 80 concrete block building they own at 7090 Lake <br />Drive. The addition is planned to measure 40 X 50 feet and <br />will also be block construction. A stucco garage will be <br />removed from the site and a concrete driveway extended to <br />the new construction. Six parking spaces will he added. <br />There were questions regarding the driveway. Plans <br />indicated it would be gravel. Mr. Yauk said it has since <br />been changed to concrete. Mr. Cody was concerned about <br />stringing buildings together. Mr. McLean was also concerned <br />about parking and driveway access. Mr. Irwin requested a <br />more complete site plan indicating location of buildings and <br />other zoning ordinance requirements. Mr. Cody questioned <br />two principal uses on the same property. <br />MOTION: Ms. Averbeck recommended approval of site and <br />building plan for FRDY Inc. Application 87 -28 contingent <br />upon submittal to City Council of a revised site plan <br />reflecting Board concerns. Also, copies to P & Z members. <br />Mr. Prokop seconded the motion and the motion was carried <br />except for Mr. Irwin voting no. <br />EL REHBEIN & SON SUBDIVISION - Twilight Acres 3rd Addition <br />Application 87 -6: Mr. Joyer appeared representing El <br />Rehbein & Son to request approval of Twilight Acres 3rd <br />Addition. <br />The subdivision is located on 79th Avenue and Lake Drive, <br />south of Twilight 2nd Addition, the entire parcel is divided <br />into 4 areas.
