He plans to
construct two homes, one on each parcel, and sell the parcel abutting
Bald Eagle Boulevard.
Mr. Prokop asked for clarification on the wording of the application -
asked Mr. Howe if he planned to move in a house and Mr. Howe said, No,
he plans to construct two homes.
Mr. Prokop pointed out the moratorium on the splitting property and Mr.
Howe said he had appeared before the Board in February and this is his
seventh meeting.
Mr. Howe was told that he could construct one house on this property,
with a variance for a long driveway. It was suggested that this be done
and, perhaps when the zoning map and ordinance is completed, there could
be a possibilty this split could be considered.
Mr. Prokop questioned the roadway in White Bear Township, how does this
affect Lino Lakes, who maintains the roadway, who plows the street, how
does the Police and Fire get to his house - through White Bear Township?
is that legal? Mr. Prokop said all these things should be discussed
and agreed upon and this should be in writing.
Mr. Howe said he had discussed this with White Bear Township and he felt
that these points had been cleared. Mr. Prokop said that may be but he
personally, would need to see this in writing.
It was suggested that Mr. Howe attend the Public Hearings on the Zoning
Ordinance and the Zoning Map. These meetings will be held sometime in
August or September and there will be published notices.
VARIANCE - ZERO LOT LINE - ZASTROW
Mr. Zastrow is proposing to split the front of his cabinet shop and
lease for a Pizza Shop. The Board wanted a letter stating that Mr. Zastrow has
met all the requirements. j
Mrs. Krause asked if this is a variance or a Special Use Permit?
Mr. Goldade suggested that if a letter is provided to the Building
Inspector before the next Council meeting, could this be forwarded on
that assumption?
The matter of providing adequate parking - Mr. Prokop wondered if the
nine spaces provided would be enough. The matter of the proposed service
drive being used for parking was discussed.
Mrs. Roberta Strandness of 885 Orange Street, was present in reationship
