Planning and Zoning
May 12, 1982
Page Two
Mr. Prokop asked if it is a standard practive for mortage companies to
require Flood Insurance? Mr. Stein said the Flood Insurance is mandatory
by Federal Law if the property is Federally Funded, if they are in a
flood plain area. Also, if the loan is insured by the Federal Government,
it is required.
Mr. Stein was asked how this would affect the Zoning Ordinance and he
explained this is another District - an overlay that will affect all
Districts.
Mr. Reinert suggested that a decision on this be delayed. Mr. McLean
moved to table this Ordinance to be considered along with the Comprehensive
Plana and the Zoning Ordinance by the Task Force.in their study. Seconded
by Mr. Goldade. Motion carried unanimously.
SUBDIVISION - HENRIKSEN
This is a division of land by metes and bounds that had been started
several years ago. Mr. Henriksen said the Deeds had been forwarded to Mr.
Schumacher. Mr. McLean referred to the meeting in 1981 which required
the deeds for the easements.
Mr. McLean said he would not make any decision until the deeds for the
easements have been presented to the City.
Mr. Lindgren stated that he had talked to the City offices and the Deeds
for the easements had been received.
There was discussion of the lots that are included in the Deeds (9/10/
11/12/13/- 4/5/6). Mr. McLean said there is not a copy of these deeds
available.
Mr. Johnson noted there are two things needed - A certificate of Survey
and copy of all easement Deeds.
Mr. Prokop suggested that this matter be cleared with Mr. Kiuegel and Mr.
Schumacher and apperar at the next meeting and table until then.
Mr. McLean suggested that the jog be removed from the North /South portion
of the future street. This should be straight. Since the legal description
for the easements has not been written, it was requested this be straight.
Mr. Prokop moved this request be tabled until the details are worked out
to include a Certificate of Survey and Legal descriptions for the ease-
ments. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Henriksen pointed out that all monies due to the Park Fund has been
paid. Mr. McLean felt this was to have been paid on the lots as they were
sold. The total amount paid by Mr. Henriksen was $3375.00. There was
