This will allow us to devote more time to improvement projects vs. daily game preparation. Maintenance highlights during a very busy July have included: > Daily ballfield preparation. > Soccer field maintenance. > Weekly garbage collection. > Mowing and trimming of all park areas. > Party wagon delivery and pickup. > Staked trees recently planted in Clearwater Creek Park. > Playground inspections. > Weed whipped boardwalk areas. > City Hall Park Sign — rebuilt planting bed (new landscape block, fabric, and decorative mulch). > Applied summer fertilizer application (same locations as June application). > Irrigation system repair and maintenance. > Core aerification of all athletic fields and irrigated turf. > Tree and stump removal for Timberwolf Trail project (contracted). > Flail mowing of trails and some park areas. And finally, playground installed at Clearwater Creek Park! Park maintenance staff took advantage of dry weather days to complete the install. Work included: > Footing layout. > Digging footings, setting proper depth. > Equipment assembly. > Poured footings. > Completed drain tile (contractor). > Installed fabric liner. > Installed rubber pads and fibar. > Poured concrete sidewalk, bench pads, and gazebo pad (contractor). Work remaining includes backfill of all concrete, bench install, gazebo installation and painting, • reshaping of remaining berms and completion of tree and shrub planting.
