COUNCIL MINUTES OCTOBER 11, 1999 <br />The total quotes to supply, plants, mulch and guarantee 123 trees came to $20,400. This is a <br />budgeted item and the money again is recovered through the development escrow accounts. <br />Council Member Dahl moved to accept the quote from Midwest Landscapes to supply and plant <br />123 trees on the boulevards in this fall of 1999, as presented. Council Member Lyden seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />Update on Permit Procedures, Linda Waite Smith - Staff advised an update regarding <br />building permit procedures was requested at the last Council meeting. An inaccurate evaluation <br />was made on a building permit application. A recalculation was made and the contractor has <br />agreed to provide a check for $224.79 to cover the difference. Staff noted the permit did not cost <br />$800.00 because the rate is based on a sliding scale. <br />A resident claimed that Inspections had a list of 25 addresses to check for ermits. The only list <br />the City is aware of is the list of four (4) addresses originally given. T (4) residents will <br />be notified. <br />Staff added that a memo has been sent out regarding the veri a of elected officials when <br />communicating by phone. <br />• NEW BUSINESS <br />Consideration of May 22, 1996 Cou <br />Dahl and Mayor Sullivan were <br />approve the May 22, 1996, C <br />seconded the motion.
