Grading
activity will begin very soon.
Playground installation is scheduled for Saturday, October 23,
9:00am. Flanagan Sales was selected as the vendor. About a
dozen residents have expressed an interest in assisting the City
in installing the playground equipment.
Rick added that Mr. Uhde will be grading all the trail within
Behm's Century Farms this fall. Funding for the trail paving
will be needed to complete the trails which will require
approximately $80,000.
TRAILS UPDATE:
Rick discussed the following trails update:
Marshan Park Trail
This trail connection was completed a few weeks ago. Staff will
be restoring the area within a few weeks. Next spring,
additional shrubbery along the northern side of the trail will be
planted to create additional buffering between the residential
homes and the newly created trail segment.
Lilac Street Trail
This trail segment was installed in early September, 1999. Turf
restoration will be done this fall.
Otter Lake Road Trail
This trail should be completed sometime this fall.
Pam asked about the pond within Marshan Park. Rick advised the
pond belongs to the Townhomes.
Paul stated he received a call from a resident who is concerned
about the completion of the Wenzel Farms trail. Paul advised the
resident there is currently no money in the budget for trail
completion at Wenzel Farms.
Rick added that TKDA has assured him the bridge in Wenzel Farms
will be installed before winter.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
