•
•
•
City of Lino Lakes
Park Board Meeting
October 4, 1999
NEW BUSINESS:
Meeting with Hugo - Jeff advised the City of Hugo has provided
the City with the formula they have used to collect park
dedication dollars. He stated the formula may be used as a
starting place for the Park Board to determine how park
dedication fees should be collected in the future.
Park Board members discussed options for funding. It was
determined that a new source of revenue is needed because the
City is on the back end of the growth curve. Money is needed to
develop parks and maintain them.
The Park Board determined a work session will be held on November
1, 1999, after the Park Board meeting. The work session will be
held to discuss different options for park funding. Rick will
gather information relating to other cities and their park
dedication requirements.
SCHEDULE NEXT PARK BOARD MEETING:
The next Park Board meeting will be held on Monday, November 1,
1999, 6:30pm, at the new Lino Lakes City Hall.
ADJOURN:
Pam Taschuk made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Paul Montain.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:53pm.
Respectfully Submitted,
Kim Points
Recording Secretary
