• <br />• <br />• <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />Park Board Meeting <br />August 2, 1999 <br />PARKS DEPARTMENT UPDATE: <br />Barry referred to a memo from Mike Hoffman, Parks Supervisor, <br />which summarizes the maintenance highlights for July, 1999. <br />Paul asked if the resident at 474 Arrowhead Drive is satisfied. <br />Barry indicated he has received no complaints. He added that <br />stop signs have been placed on the trail. <br />Pam asked if backordered playground equipment is common. Barry <br />advised the manufacturer had a fire in their factory. Typically <br />backordered equipment is not a problem. <br />Barry indicated staff will follow up on the resident at 474 <br />Arrowhead Drive. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Barry advised proposals for the Behm's Century Farm park are in <br />the library and are available for review to residents all week. <br />Anticipated installation of the equipment is this fall. <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />Paul stated the Park Board should review the City's ordinances <br />regarding park dedication requirements during next years goal <br />setting session. The Park Board should determine and review what <br />other communities are doing regarding commercial /industrial <br />development and park dedication dollars. <br />Acting Chair Huelman noted a joint meeting with the Hugo Park <br />Board has been tentatively set for August 25, 1999. <br />SCHEDULE NEXT PARK BOARD MEETING: <br />The next Park Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 7, <br />1999, 6:30pm, at the new Lino Lake City Hall. <br />ADJOURN: <br />Pam Taschuk made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Jeff Reinert. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 7:55pm. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Kim Points <br />Recording Secretary <br />
