ROUGH DRAFT <br />09/20/00 <br />1. The name(s), telephone number(s), and address(s) of applicants, property owners, <br />developers and/or builders <br />2. Delineation of all existing or proposed buildings, structures, utility easements, rights - <br />of -way, sidewalks and trails, impervious surfaces, and water bodies. <br />3. Delineation of all areas to be graded and limits of land disturbance, including a <br />detailed description of the methods to control soil erosion during and after <br />construction. <br />4. Estimated location and type of all structures, utilities, and existing vegetation on <br />adjacent properties within 100 feet of subject property. <br />5. Size, species, and location of all existing vegetation on property indicating plants to <br />remain and those to be removed. Plan should specify protection measures to be used. <br />6. Size, species, and location of all new vegetation to be planted on the property, <br />including the square feet of areas to be sodded or seeded. <br />7. Size, type, and location of non - vegetative landscape or screening devices (fences, <br />walls, berms, etc.), including typical sections or details. <br />8. Table summarizing new plants by scientific and common name, size, root condition, <br />and quantity. <br />9. Describe any plans to modify, restore, or protect the existing soils and the associated <br />procedures for such actions. <br />10. Table summarizing the total square feet of pervious green area on site, including area <br />of required buffer yards. fln definition, may want to include how required buffer <br />yard is determined — i.e. "as specified in Section X of the zoning ordinance " ? ? ?J <br />11. Signature of person(s) preparing the plan, date plan prepared, scale and north arrow. <br />B. Performance Security Required: The applicant shall provide security for the <br />performance of its obligations pursuant to this section following City approval of the <br />Landscape /Screening Plan and prior to commencement of any land disturbing activity <br />as follows: <br />1. Amount of security: <br />a) Letter of Credit — A letter of credit equal to one - hundred fifty percent (150 %) of <br />the estimated cost of the landscape plants and other elements of the approved <br />Landscape /Screening Plan. The applicant shall submit a schedule of costs <br />associated with implementation of the approved Landscape /Screening Plan, <br />including non -plant elements. In the event of any disagreement, the City will use <br />the current Bachman's Wholesale Catalog (published annually), or equivalent <br />regionally -based wholesale nursery, catalog, to estimate the cost of landscape <br />plantings proposed on the approved Landscape /Screening Plan. For non -plant <br />elements, the City will estimate the costs for comparison purposes. [needs work] <br />b) Cash Escrow — A cash escrow equal to one hundred percent (100 %) of the cost of <br />staff time associated with monitoring and enforcement of the <br />Landscape /Screening Plan as estimated by the City. <br />2. Release of Security - The applicant shall notify the City when the planting has been <br />completed so the City can verify that the landscaping and/or screening is completed, <br />
