10/24/94 <br />� CITY of <br />LINO LAKES <br />Standards for Facility Design <br />• <br />• <br />Policy 1.6: <br />Policy 1.7: <br />Policy 1.8: <br />Policy 1.9: <br />Policy 1.10: <br />Policy 1.11: <br />Policy 1.12: <br />Policy 1.13: <br />Water Quality. <br />Policy 2.1: <br />Policy 2.2: <br />All minor drainage system analyses and design <br />shall be based on a return period of 10 years unless <br />otherwise specified. <br />Detention facility design shall include access for <br />maintenance of the outlet structure and to the <br />facility in general. <br />The design of storm water facilities shall consider <br />and identify location(s) of overflow(s) that prevent <br />property damage from extreme water levels. <br />Minimum building elevations shall be above <br />established flood levels. <br />Emergency overflows or outlets to City drainage <br />systems shall be provided to any landlocked area if <br />the available storm water storage capacity is <br />inadequate to prevent flooding of structures. <br />The City will take an active role in implementing <br />the necessary policies to allow acquisition and <br />development of regional detention ponds. <br />The City shall use a standard hydrologic design <br />criteria for all storm water systems to assure. <br />consistency. <br />City will perform maintenance measures to assure <br />proper function of the drainage system. <br />The classification system established by the City <br />will dictate intended use and water quality <br />standards. <br />Sedimentation ponds shall be constructed prior to <br />discharging into protected waters and wetlands. <br />Local Water Management Plan <br />Users Manual SEH NO: LINOL9402.00 <br />Page 6 <br />
