10/24/94 <br />CITY OF <br />LINO LAS <br />Standards for Facility Design <br />Policy 2.3: <br />Policy 2.4: <br />Policy 2.6: <br />Policy 2.9: <br />Policy 2.10: <br />Policy 2.11: <br />Policy 2.12: <br />Policy 2.13: <br />All new development will reduce phosphorus <br />loading to a drainage system or water body in <br />accordance with the City's adopted phosphorus <br />budget for the subwatershed. <br />All construction plans developed for the <br />maintenance and /or improvement of water quality <br />shall include a detailed access and maintenance <br />plan and shall require City approval. <br />All on -site waste water systems shall be maintained <br />by the owner. <br />Agriculture areas will be regulated by the local soil <br />conservation district. <br />The City will take an active role in implementing <br />the necessary policies to allow development of <br />regional water quality ponds. <br />Newly constructed water bodies will have a 50 -foot <br />naturally vegetated buffer strip between the water <br />body and maintained area if the water body <br />requires limited phosphorous loadings. <br />City will perform maintenance measures to keep <br />potential pollutants from entering local water <br />bodies. <br />The City shall administer the requirements in M.S. <br />103B.3365 based on a City wide management <br />strategy. <br />Recreation, Fish and Wildlife <br />Policy 3.1: Natural areas, wildlife habitat and wetlands shall be <br />protected during construction by clearly marking <br />and /or fencing the areas to be protected. <br />Local Water Management Plan SEH NO: LINOL9402.00 <br />Users Manual Page 7 <br />
