• <br />ENVIRONMENTAL BOARD MEETING FEBRUARY 22, 2006 <br />D Environmental Board Application Process <br />Mr. Kukonen requested input from staff and board members on how to address an <br />issue with his advisory board application. Mr. Kukonen explained that he <br />submitted his application on the due date, January 31, 2006 after City Hall was <br />closed. He stated that the City considered the application late and therefore it <br />was not accepted. . <br />The Board asked Council Member Carlson to comment on this issue. Council <br />Member Carlson said that Board should make its own decision and that she does <br />not want to influence any decision. <br />Ms. O'Dea suggested that Mr. Kukonen submit the Quad advertisement of the <br />board openings, summary of his position and the process he followed. The board <br />noted that interviews were being held this evening. Ms. O'Dea suggested that Mr. <br />Kukonen prepare the letter tonight. Ms. Grundhofer suggested the letter be copied <br />to other people within the city. <br />7. ADJOURN <br />It was noted that the next meeting of the Environmental Board will be on March <br />29, 2006. <br />There being no further business, Ms. O'Connell moved to adjourn at 8:53p.m. <br />Ms. Grundhofer seconded the motion.
