He agreed and left his <br />phone number. <br />Mr. Asleson recommended two things. One being signage in conservation area <br />and two being no soil to be imported or exported without city approval. <br />Ms. O'Dea asked if there will be a monument with lights. Mr. Barossa said that <br />there will be something small certainly not a lit monument. Mr. Barossa said they <br />will try to be minial as per flash factor. Ms. O'Dea doesn't want maintenance to <br />be an issue. <br />Ms. O'Dea asked if the lot off of Birch /Birch Park is going to be any type of <br />buffer. Mr. Barossa said that there will be a landscape plan. There are a few oaks <br />and a strip for landscaping. <br />Ms. Husveth said they are looking at native trees. Ms. Grundhofer was concerned <br />about the recommended crab trees not producing fruit. She recommended that we <br />have some type of fruit bearing tree. <br />Staff Recommendations: <br />1. City lighting ordinance needs to be followed. Keep lighting and <br />monument to minimum. <br />2. Signage for conservation easement. <br />3. No import or export of soils w /out city approval <br />4. Would like acceptable landscape plan. <br />5. Recommendation to developer to use modified walkouts. <br />6. Have a document produced to homeowners to evidence Association and <br />deed restrictions. Declaration of covenants. <br />7. Ensure that a maintenance plan is included with submittal. <br />8. Remove reference to shallow mash restoration area being designed by <br />others. <br />9.
