March 3, 1999
Ms. Mary Kay Wyland
City of Lino Lakes
1189 Main Street
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
Dear Ms. Wyland,
I am writing this letter on behalf of the property owners in Behm's Century Farm that were in
attendance at the Tuesday, March 2, 1999, meeting with Mr. Gary Uhde.
Per our discussions with Mr. Uhde, we would like to have the following concerns addressed at the
March 10, 1999, Lino Lakes Planning and Zoning Board meeting. A group of residents will be
attending the meeting to discuss our concerns with the Board and City staff. At that time, we would
like decisions made about the course of action required of Mr. Uhde as he completes the second,
third and fourth additions of Behm's Century Farm and as he begins the fifth addition.
Resident Concerns
Lot 10
2nd Add.
Lot 27
2nd Add.
Lot 17
2nd Add.
Lot 13
2nd Ad.
Lot 9
2nd Add.
Lot 24
4th Add.
Dirt piles removed, improve grading around the pond, save as many trees as possible
when the pond is expanded.
Dirt road is low, additional fill is needed next to garage.
Backyard eroding into pond (steep bank), clean up brush, remove dirt piles, save as
many trees as possible when the pond is expanded.
Remove dirt piles, plant boulevard trees, regrade pond to a gradual slope, replacement
of trees lost in grading, save as many trees as possible when expanding pond.
The drainage ditch behind house is slowly eroding the usable land for gardening and
general use. Fill in and remove dirt piles. Also concerned about the amount of truck
traffic. There is continuous noise and dust. The grade in the southwest corner of the
lot is terrible and when it rains the water ponds. Grade better so that it is more level
and ponding does not occur.
I would like to sit down with Gary and discuss the pond situation.
