AGENDA ITEM 6B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: November 8, 1999 <br />TOPIC: Public Hearing — First Reading, Approve Ordinance No 17 -99, <br />Easement Vacation, Oak Brook Peninsula. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 4/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) has requested additional information on <br />this matter from the developer of Oak Brook Peninsula. Consequently, we do not have <br />a recommendation from the RCWD at this time A recommendation from the RCWD is <br />required before City staff is able to prepare a recommendation. We are requesting that <br />the Public Hearing be continued until November 22, 1999. <br />The Environmental Board reviewed this request at their October 27, 1999, meeting.
