NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY MINNEAPOLIS, MN <br />7/22 /97 <br />PROJECT DESIGN GUIDE <br />Line # - 0736 <br />Arden Hills to Wyoming - Realignment of Otterlake Road for City of Lino Lakes <br />near 35E crossing. <br />PROJECT E97EK01 <br />,, <br />PROJECT SCOPE <br />The City of Lino Lakes is changing the alignment of Otterlake Road for safety <br />reasons on their project COMM #11049. The road realignment project will <br />reimburse NSP to move and replace the Westerly guys and anchors located <br />on dead-end structure #452. These guys and anchors are required to <br />compensate for cold curve conductor tensions on spans to East of structure <br />#452" <br />II. SPECIFIC DESIGN FEATURES <br />A) Remove and replace one wishbone structure #451 with a Tight H -Frame <br />tangent dead end structure. Add guying and anchoring enough to replace <br />removed guys and anchors noted in (B) <br />B) Remove the existing conductor and shield wire guys and anchors on the West <br />side of structure # 452 . <br />C) Coordinate tension between new structure #451 and existing structure #452 <br />so that the cold curve tensions remain greater in longer span over 35E <br />III.
