JUL-02-0.998 15:25
NAC 612 595 9837 P.12/15
extending the overall height to 260'. The need for this height is to provide both the
required radio system coverage and to provide adequate height for the microwave radio
communication link to clear potential ground obstructions. Please review the attached
coverage studies and microwave path profiles completed by our system consultant.
4. The area water tower structure, both in and around Lino Lakes, have been unable to
provide the required system design needs. They either are insufficient in height to
provide the required microwave path clearance or had inadequate space available for full
system expansion needs.
As we discussed the applicable ordinances, the site plan review process is a meet - and - confer that
the State of Minnesota uses to work with the local cities and/or counties on building projects
planned for State property. The State Statute that allows the Minnesota Department of
Transportation the right to proceed is Minnesota Statute § 645.27 and MS 16B.61 & MS 16B.60.
I hope this provides the requested information to further clarify our plan for developing this
location. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please feel free to
contact me.
Sincerely,
Lynn A.
