CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 05 -126 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT — <br />. LEGACY AT WOODS EDGE — PHASE 1 IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Legacy at Woods <br />Edge — Phase 1 Improvements project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />Glenn Rehbein Companies $2,231,503.85 <br />Arcon Construction $2,274,222.02 <br />Redstone Construction $2,386,532.92 <br />Three Rivers Construction $2,456,002.66 <br />Forest Lake Contracting $2,508,162.02 <br />Northdale Construction $2,693,834.03 <br />Ryan Contracting $2,762,276.62 <br />Engineer's Estimate $2,486,020.50 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Glenn Rehbein Companies is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Glenn <br />Rehbein Companies in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the Legacy <br />at Woods Edge — Phase 1 Improvements Project according to the plans and specifications <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 22' day of August 2005. <br />Ann J.
