The owner <br />had requested that this assessment be divided equally over the 31 lots <br />and the amount to be assess is $7,027.37 per lot. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter was concerned that this project is imcomplete. Mr. <br />Meister pointed out that the granular materials are in place and it is <br />just a matter of compacting this material. The project is 70% complete <br />and Mr. Meister said this project would not cost any more than set forth <br />in the report. <br />The Clerk was instructed to prepare a Resolution and put this on the next <br />agenda. Mr. Jaworski moved to table. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Mrs. Voigt was concerned with the condition of LaMotte Road. She noted <br />that the Council had agreed to rebuild that street and assume the cost. <br />Nothing has been done with that street as yet and she asked when it was <br />to be done. <br />Mayor Gourley noted that this was to have been in the 1981 budget, but <br />one finalizing the budget, all expenditures for street rebuilding had <br />been eliminated due to the lack of funds. Mayor Gourley said this street <br />is still in the schedule. <br />Mrs. Voigt asked about the possibility of an assessment procedure of levy- <br />ing assessments against the affected property owners for the repairing <br />of existing streets and Mayor Gourley said this procedure has not been <br />used as yet and the Council is working on a program of keeping the <br />streets in repair without haveing to assess the home owners. <br />Mr. Holman and Mr. O'Brian, of the Centennial School District's Summer <br />Recreation Program, presented a report of the programs and a breakdown <br />of the activities offered to all age levels. The number of aprticipants <br />from each community had also been included. <br />Mr. Holman presented the financial statement of the program indicating <br />that the cost will not have the School District's assistance during this <br />coming year. It will either be necessary to increase the cost to the <br />participants or raise the funds necessary from other sources. He asked <br />the Council to consider increasing their assistance as they prepare the <br />budget for 1982. <br />Mr. Holman asked the Council to consider the possibility of establishing <br />a twelve month recreation program. He requested the Council to appoint <br />two (2) citizens and one (1) Council member to sit with them to consider <br />this with all Communities. <br />Mr. Holman thanked the Council for their cooperation. Mayor Gourley <br />thanked Mr. Holman and Mr. O'Brian for their information and assured them <br />this would be considered at budget hearings. <br />Mr. Ross requested taht a public hearing be called on the shortened <br />sewer project and that another public hearing be called on the revised <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter said there will be another public hearing scheduled on <br />the Comprehensive Plan. <br />
