August 24, 1981 <br />57 <br />Mr. Dennis Weible requested permission to file a petition against the <br />sewer as propsoed along Lake Drive. Mayor Gourley asked that he file it <br />with the Clerkt. <br />Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel asked to speak of her concerns about the installation <br />of the sewer as it pertained to the fam along Lake Drive. <br />REAPPORTIONMENT FOR OUTLOT H <br />ThisOutlot had a total assessment of $36,109.92 and was requested to be <br />divided equally over the 44 lots being platted over Outlot H. This computes <br />to $820.68 per lot. The Clerj has computed this for each lot and is ready <br />to be filed. <br />A public Hearing was scheduled for September 14, 1981 at 8:15 P.M. for <br />consideration of this assessment. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING REPORT <br />Mr. Andrew Cardinal - request for a variance to split a one acre parcel of <br />land for his daughter to construct a home. This land is along Birch Street. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission had recommended approval of this split. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to approve this variance. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Marlin Hanson - request for a variance to split a small parcel of land <br />to add to his property. This is only a 30' strip. The Planning and Zoning <br />Commission had recommended approval of this strip. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to approve this variance. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />A recess was called at this point in the meeting. The meeting reconvened <br />at 9:00 P.M. <br />Mayor Gourley moved to consider items #9 and #17 and table the balance <br />until the next regular meeting. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />INSURANCE BIDS. <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the comparisonsfor insurance coverage for the City <br />and presented this for Council consideration, noting the differences in the <br />proposals. <br />After considering all facets of these proposals, Mr. Schumacher recommended <br />that the City stay with the current company, the Home Insurance Company, <br />for this year. <br />Mr. Elsenpeter moved to remain with the Home Insurance Company. Seconded <br />by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Mayor Gourley set a budget meeting for September 8, 1981 at 8:00 P.M. <br />Mr. Jaworski moved to adjourn at 9:30 P.M. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. <br />Aye. <br />
