86 <br />October 13, 1981 <br />carried unanimously. <br />BLOOM's ADDITION - STREET ACCEPTANCE <br />This street was inspected in July, 1980 and was accepted for maintenance <br />with the requirement that a maintenance bond be posted for one year. <br />Mr. Bloom did not post the bond but there have been no building permit <br />requests for that area in the past year. <br />Mr. McLean moved to have Mr. Schumacher order an inspection of the street <br />by Mr. Volk or the Engineers, the Council can then consider the acceptanxe <br />of the Street. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />IMPROVEMENTS - CAROLE's ESTATES II AND FOREST GLEN <br />Mr. Menkveld had presented a petition for the compeltion of storm sewers <br />and strees in both plats. <br />It was suggested to Mr. Menkevel that he provide the City with a letter <br />of credit for the cost of the feasibility report and proceed from that <br />point. <br />There was a question on the lots already sold and Mr. Menkveld said his <br />firm would assume all costs on those lots. <br />After some discussion, Mr. McLean moved to table this matter and instruct <br />Mr. Schumacher to consult with Juran and Moody as to the City's ability <br />to bond for the project. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried <br />unanimously. Mr. Schumacher reported that the approximate costs are <br />$200,000.00. <br />RESOLUTION 81 -35 <br />This Resolution deals with the City's position on law enforcement in <br />the Anoka County Chain of Lakes Park. Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to adopt <br />the Resolution. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Mr. McLean moved to amend <br />by including the mailing list. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion and <br />amendment passed unanimously. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />None <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Northwester Bell - this request is for the installation of buried cable <br />on Oak Wood Court. Mr. Gotwald had checked the specifications and found <br />them to be in order. However, he would stipulate that the street and <br />driveways be augered under. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve Northwestern Bell's request with the <br />Engineer's stipulations added.
