November 16, 1981 <br />10 <br />Ernest Surman and Mrs. Linda Adams contingent upon the receipt of evidence <br />that the subject property has been transferred. all back taxes are paid. <br />Evidence to be supplied to the City by the City Attorney. The license is <br />not to be issued until the City has evidence of the above. As a notation <br />to the application, the City will be following the progress of his operations <br />through inspections by the Police Department to see that past conditions <br />do not repeat themselves in the interest of the City. Also, proper insur- <br />ance and bond to be provided. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Mr. Elsenpeter amended the motion to require Mr. Surman to work with the <br />Building Inspector to provide some type of lighting and traffic plans and <br />some minor plans for the upgrading of the building. Mr. McLean accepted <br />the amendment and Mr. Kulaszewicz also accepted. <br />The motion and the amendment were voted as one and carried unanimously. <br />TABLED ITEMS <br />Mr. Elsenpeter moved to table items B 8 C under the Planning and Zoning <br />report and also item 11, concerned with the City Assessor. Seconded by <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Mr. Lyndal Nelson was scheduled to appear but he was not present. <br />The Lino Parents Club had applied for a Bingo License for November 19, 1981. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve this application and waive the requirements of <br />a bond. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ITEM <br />Mr. Steve Krube had applied for a variance to construct his garage nearer <br />the street than his home due to the hardship of the land. Planning and <br />Zoning had recommended approval of this variance. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve this variance. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION <br />Mr. Schumacher explained this is County wide application and must have <br />all communities of Anoka County participating in order to reach the <br />necessary population figure to qualify. <br />Mr. McLean moved to authorize the Mayor to sign the Community Development <br />Block Grant Fund Application. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />49CLUB SEWER PROJECT FINANCING <br />Mr. Elsenpeter moved to authorize Mr. Schumacher to set up financing for <br />this project. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />QUOTES ON WING PLOW <br />Mr. Volk presented his quotes on a wing plow and recommended the purchase <br />of a wing plow from Itasca for $2238.00. Mr. McLean oved to approve the <br />
