Council Meeting <br />March 8, 1982 <br />The amendment carried unanimously. The original motion as amended <br />carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON LAKES ADD. #7 <br />The Public Hearing on Lakes; Add. #7 was called to order at 8:23 P.M. <br />This matter had been discussed under the Bonding Policy discussion. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to table this matter until April 12, 1982 at 8:00 <br />P.M. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to continue this hearing. Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />There was a recess at this point in the meeting. The meeting reconvened. <br />CLERK's REPORT <br />The Clerk reported that Mr. Lang's office had called and had reserved the <br />City Hall for April 7, 1982. He will be here from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 <br />A.M. to assist the Senior Citizens with their property tax. <br />Senator Dahl's office has reserved the City Hall for April 15, 1982 to <br />hold a Town Meeting. This meeting will be at 7:30 P.M. <br />PARK BOARD REPORT <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the recommendations of the Park Board in referenc <br />to gining recognition to the service organizations that have donated time <br />and money to the City for the development of the City Parks. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to set a Recognition Date for these service organ- <br />izations for April 12, 1982. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />The Park Board has asked to coordinate some of their needs with the con- <br />struction of the Senior Citizen's Center. They have requested that Mr. <br />Peter Scherer and Mr. Ken Johnson be a part of the Committee that will <br />develop this building. <br />Mr. Marier moved to authorize this action. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Five Year C.I.P. - Mr. Schumacher went through this update, listing each <br />of the City Parks and the plans for each park. Mr. Schumacher pointed out <br />that this Plan does not balance with the funds availabe but this will be <br />adjusted as the funds become available. <br />Mr. Reinert asked if there was an anticipated revenue breakdown as to the <br />source of these funds? Mr. Schumacher said the Park Board has not done <br />this as yet. <br />Mr. Schumacher reported that the Park Board had discussed the possibility <br />of doing an area wide survey as to what the residents want in the Parks <br />and the possibility of :a bond issue for the development. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />
