October 12, 1982 <br />RESOLUTION CLOSING A PORTION OF EAST SHADOW LAKE DRIVE <br />Mr. Schumacher noted that the owner of the two lots at the end of the <br />cul -de -sac had requested that the extension of East Shadow Lake Drive <br />be abandonded to facilitate the sale of those two lots. Also, the <br />owners of Outlot K had asked for the removal of the street in that '. <br />location. The firm is in the process of applying for FHA financing <br />for construction in the area and does not want this to interfer with <br />that process. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to waive the reading of the Resolution #82 -21, <br />authorizing the abondonment of a certain portion of East Shadow Lake <br />Drive. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Mr. Hawkins had nothing specific to report at this time. <br />FIRST READING OF ORDINANCES AMENDING COUNCIL AND PARK BOARD SALARIES <br />Mr. Schumacher presented Ordinances 42B and 57B, amending the ordinances <br />on salaries. This is necessary in order to comply with the State <br />Auditor's recommendations and would combine the salary and the expenses <br />into the salary. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to waive the reading of the Ordinances and accept <br />these Ordinances to be considered at the October 25, 1982 Council <br />meeting. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Motion carried uaanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION OF SETTING A UTILITY PERMIT FEE <br />Mr. Schumacher noted that the application form had been accepted and <br />approved but the Council had not set a fee for the issuing of the permits. <br />The Engineer checks these applications for conformance to City <br />specifications and the charge for that service is billed to the City. <br />Mr. Schumacher suggested a fee of $30.00 in order to cover those costs. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to set the permit fee at $30.00. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION OF SPECIAL USE PERMITS <br />Mr. Kluegel presented his report on the status of the Special Use Permits. <br />There are three permits - #9, 45, & 54 - on the active list but where no <br />cosntruction has began within the specified time. <br />Mayor Benson listed the 5 inactive permits as follows: Richard Carey, <br />Warren Solheid, Sally Kuether /Judy Helin, Robert DuFour, and Michael <br />Kelly. The active ones as. addressed are - El Rehbein - Outlots G &K, Mr. <br />Gearman. and El Rehbein - addition to existing office building. <br />Mr. Kluegel had written letters to some of the other existing permits. <br />A letter had been written to Mr. Alan LaMotte on the junking of cars <br />on the limit on cars to be at that location. The second letter had been <br />set to Mr. Spetzman on the exterior storage at his transmission shop. <br />Luther's Sport shop on the storage of boats,etc. outside the fence. <br />
