Seconded by Mr. Marier. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />There was also a reminder of the Board of Review meeting to be held on <br />May 17, 1983 at 7:00 P.M. <br />CONSIDERATION OF CERTIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR NON -UNION <br />AND SUPERVISORY EMPLOYEES. <br />Mr. Schumahcer presented the report on these employees to include job <br />descriptions, evaluations, performances and recommended salary for 1983. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the salary schedule as set forth in thie <br />report. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. <br />Mr. Reinert felt the area of Public Relations should be improved. He <br />felt there had been some improvement over the past year but felt there <br />is still room for improvement. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />Mr. Hawkins had no report at this time. <br />RESIGNATION OF LARRY THORNHILL <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to accept the resignation of Mr. Thornhill with <br />a letter of commendation to be written. Seconded by Mr. Marier. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />STATE AID ROAD SYSTEM PROGRESS REPORT <br />Mr. Schumacher reported that he had talked with Mr. Glen Van Wormer and <br />he had informed him that the proposed State Aid Road System had not been <br />totally approved by the State. That portion of the street going over <br />135E had been deleted. The proposed street to be substituted would be <br />the service road along I35W to connect with 2nd Avenue. There was also <br />the possibility of allowing 80th street to become a part of the State <br />Aid Road System. <br />What is needed is authorization to prepare the amendment to submit to <br />the State for approval. Mr. Marier moved to approve this authorization. <br />Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />STATUS REPORT ON THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT <br />Mr. Schumacher reported that he had met with the architect last week <br />and the plans are about one -half complete. Mr. Vogt has the plans and <br />specifications for the combined Senior Center nad the addition to City <br />Hall almost complete. Mr. Schumacher noted that there are some funds <br />available - $12,000.00+ - that he had checked with Anoka County and this <br />moneycan be used on the Senior Center project. Mr. Vogt had also noted <br />that the increase in the cost of the project could be approximately 6% <br />to 7 %. Mr. Marier moved to apply this additional money to the Senior <br />Center. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Reinert asked if it would be possible to have the first set of plans <br />
