1 <br />1 <br />August 8, 1983 <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />83 <br />Mr. Davidson reported on the bid openings for the installation of sewers <br />in the Baldwin Lake Mobile Home Park. The low bid was submitted by <br />Channel Construction in the amount of $46,193.50 and Mr. Davidson re- <br />commended this bid be approved. The bonding amount should be approximately <br />$100,000.00 in order to cover the cost of construction, the SAC for the <br />Mobile Home Park and the various other expenses involved in the issuance <br />of the bonds. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the following Resolution #83 -26 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of <br />Baldwin Lake Mobile Home Park, bids were received, opened and tabulated <br />according to law, and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Channel Construction of Isle, Minnesota is the <br />lowest responsible bidder. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into the attached contract with Channel Construction of Isle, MN <br />in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the improvement of <br />Baldwin Lake Mobile Home Park according to the Plans and <br />Specifications therefore ,approved by the City Council and on <br />file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth- <br />with to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that <br />the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder <br />shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 8th day of August, 1983. <br />Edna L. Motion was seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mayor Benson stated that the bonding for this project was unusual and <br />that is the reason for the City's involvement that this is not setting <br />a precedent. <br />Rice Lake Estates Sewer Service District - Mr. Davidson presented his <br />suggested sewer and water service district on the overhead noting the <br />
