88 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />August 22, 1983 <br />OPEN MIKE <br />There was no one scheduled under this portion of the agenda. <br />PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD ACTIONS - MR. KLUEGEL <br />Robert Cordell - Metes and Bounds Sundivision Mr. Kluegel noted this <br />subdivision is neccesary to settle and estate. This is a 40 acre parcel <br />East of Lake Drive on the NOrth bouder of the City. The Planning and <br />Zoning had recommended approval of this subdivision in that it is con- <br />sistent with the Zoning Map and the Comprehensive Paln. This division <br />complies with all regulations in the new Zoning Ordinance. This is per <br />the revised survey dated May 6, 1983. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve the recommendation of the Planning and <br />Zoning per the revised survey dated May 6, 1983 with the stipulation <br />that the street easement be recorded as part ofthis subdivision. Seconded <br />by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Paul Wolters- Rezoning Request - Mr. Kluegel noted this is a request for <br />a Public Hearing to rezone the property from GB to LI in that the current <br />business should be in a LI zone. This property is adjacent to a LI zone <br />and is compatable. Mr. Wolters has plans for expansion. <br />The Planning and Zoning had recommended approval of the rezoning in that <br />is is bordered on the North by a LI zone and his current operation is <br />more consistent with LI zoning. The Planning and Zoning Board has tabled <br />the request for a Conditional Use Permit for further information. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to set a public hearing for this rezoning request <br />for September 12, 1983 at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />AT &T - Conditional Use Permit - Set Public Hearing - Mr. Kluegel ex- <br />plained this is located on teh Acton Property just South of County Road <br />14 and is for the installation of a single pole -type transmission tower <br />167 feet high. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to set a Public Hearing for September 26, 1983 at <br />7:45 P.M. Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter, Motion carried unanimously. <br />Shoreland Management Ordinance - Mr. Kluegel noted that this Ordinance <br />governs all lands within 1000 feet of all shorelines and basins. <br />Mr. Stine of the DNR, explained this regulates the lot sizes, set backs, <br />frontage requirements in the process of development. Mr. Stine noted that <br />the DNR has approved the draft ordinance. Mr. Stine went on to briefly <br />explain some of the regulations in this document. <br />There was some discussion of the property zoned for multi - family along <br />Lake Drive and the lesser set back required there and Mr. Stine explained <br />since most of the lake shore is in the park, this had been average out <br />and it was felt the lesser set back could be allowed in that area. <br />Mr. Hawkins reminded the Cuoncil, since this is a Zoning Ordinance, a <br />public hearing must he held. Mr. Reinert moved to waive the reading of <br />
