90 <br />Special Council Meeting <br />August 22, 1983 <br />costs and if unexpected conditions are encountered, the additional <br />costs will be added to this figure. <br />Mr.Davidson presented a schedule for this installation, noting that this <br />project cannot be compelted until early 1984. <br />Mayor Benson asked for comment from the audience, and <br />Mrs. LaBuda, who owns two lots on the street, asked what she can do now <br />in that she opposes this construction. Mayor Benson suggested that she <br />get a copy of the City Charter which outlines the procedure in matters <br />such as this. <br />The petitioner owns lots 11 & 12 and Mrs. LaBuda ownes lots 13 & 14. It <br />was suggested that perhaps seh could swap lots with the petitioner. <br />Mr. Ken Muehlstedt, owner of lots 11 & 12 said he was not itnerested in <br />trading lots. He said there are other persons present who also want to <br />develop their lots. <br />Dan Lambie, owner of Lot 7, wants the street installed <br />Bob Rypkempa, owner of Lot 8, wants the street installed <br />Wayne Dailey, Lot 6, wants the street installed <br />Dean ? told the Council he plans to purchase one of Mr. Muehlstedt's lots <br />for developing, if the street is installed. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to continue the Public Hearing until October 24, 1983 <br />at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />POLICE REPORT - DEER PROBLEM - ASO STREET <br />Chief Myhre presented his report showing the areas that would need to <br />be deleted before any area could be opened for any'type of hunting. The <br />remaining area is small and intersected by I35E. <br />Chief Myhre presented teh pro's and con's on the following means of <br />hunting; 1) shotguns with slugs; 2) muzzle loaders; 3) or just bow and <br />arrow which is legal at this point. He also suggested that there could <br />be no action taken. <br />Cheif Myhre recommended that this be opened for muzzle loader owners and <br />with written premission of the property owners only. <br />Due to the many aspects of opening this up for huntint, the Council requested <br />Chief Myhre to discuss this report with the resident that had complained <br />about the damage done by the deer to his property, and report back to the <br />Council at the next Council meeting. <br />ATTORNEY "S REPORT <br />Mr. Hawkins had discussed the franchises of the gas utility companies and <br />needed a copy of the map outlining the various areas that each company <br />has the non - exclusive use to serve. Mr. Hawkins had several suggestions <br />on this problem but would like to see the maps first. <br />
